Google Pixel 10 series release date tipped online; Pixel 10 Pro prototype also leaked

The rumor mill has been buzzing lately with the leaks of the upcoming Pixel 10 smartphone series and recently the first look of Pixel 10 was also revealed online. Last year Pixel 9 series made its debut in the month of August and it was assumed that its successor could also launch during the same time.

Tipster @MysteryLupin yesterday shared that the Pixel 10 series will launch on August 13, though the information was shared in quite a cryptic way. On the contrary, Android Headlines has exclusively revealed that Google will unveil the Pixel 10 series at its Made by Google event on August 20, while the devices will be made available in stores on August 28. Along with this smartphone series, Google is also expected to introduce its Pixel Watch 4.

Recently Google has also sent out an invite to lucky Pixel superfans for them to come and see the next Pixel device before anyone else, on June 25.  About the confusion regarding the launch date, lets wait for more updates to know the confirmed release date.

Apart from this, images of a prototype Pixel 10 Pro were spotted on a Chinese social media platform called coolapk, which were later re-shared by tipster Mystic Leaks on Telegram.

The camera bar looks huge, and a familiar rear design can be seen with triple rear cameras. There is a cover glass over the camera bar. This is a DVT1.0 prototype. It features a Tensor G5 chip that includes 2x Cortex- A520, 3x Cortex-A725, 2x Cortex-A725 and 1x Cortex-X4. The above image reveals that the chipset has a 5nm process, but as per the tipster, this is likely a mistake, as Tensor G5 is expected to be on a 3nm process. It also reveals 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The device will run on Android 16 out of the box.
