OpenAI Canvas now supports download feature

Last year, OpenAI officially introduced Canvas- a new interface working with ChatGPT on writing and coding projects that go beyond simple chat. It was said that with Canvas, ChatGPT can better understand the context of what you’re trying to accomplish.
Well. the company has now officially announced that Canvas now supports the download feature.
Canvas now supports downloads!
If you're writing a doc, you can export it as a PDF, docx, or markdown.
If you're using Canvas to write code, it will export directly to the appropriate file type (e.g. .py, .js, .sql, etc.). pic.twitter.com/kxLBNN4JyK

You can now export your Canvas documents in multiple formats depending on the type of content. The download button is available on the top-right corner of your canvas. For general documents (like essays or blog posts), canvas supports exporting to PDF, Markdown (.md) and Word (.docx) formats.
For code-based canvases, canvas intelligently detects the language and exports it in the appropriate file extension (e.g., .py, .js, .sq, etc.), preserving formatting and syntax. This new download feature makes it easy to archive your work, share drafts, or continue editing in external tools.
OpenAI has previously mentioned that the Canvas feature is suitable for creative writing tasks and coding-related work. You can control the project in Canvas by using features like- directly editing text or code, using shortcuts to have ChatGPT to adjust writing length, debugging your code and quickly performing other useful actions while you can also restore previous versions of your work by using the back button in Canvas.
