Motorola India teases new smartphone launch, likely the Motorola Edge 60

Looks like Motorola India is now bringing in the vanilla variant of the Motorola Edge 60 series, called the Motorola Edge 60. In a teaser released on X, Motorola has shared an image of the upcoming smartphone. Though it hasn’t explicitly revealed the moniker, the promo image clearly includes the message “A camera as edgy as you are” along with “Coming Soon.” The teaser also shows the front of the phone, featuring a punch-hole display.

Apart from this, the microsite isn’t live yet, either on Flipkart or Amazon India. However, it’s not hard to tell that this is the Motorola Edge 60. If that’s the case, it will join the already available Edge 60 Pro, Edge 60 Stylus, and Edge 60 Fusion in India. Since this is just the first teaser, more details such as the launch date and availability are likely to be revealed in the coming days. And as the smartphone has already launched globally, here are the specs.
Motorola Edge 60 (Global Specs)
The Motorola Edge 60 features a 6.7-inch pOLED quad-curved display with Pantone Validated and Pantone SkinTone Validated colour accuracy, along with Dolby Atmos support for enhanced audio. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset and comes equipped with a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700C main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide/macro camera, and a 10MP telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom and up to 30x Super Zoom.
On the front, it houses a 50MP camera for selfies and video calls. The Edge 60 matches the Pro model in durability, featuring IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance, MIL-STD-810H certification, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection. It comes in canvas- and leather-inspired textures with Pantone Gibraltar Sea and Shamrock colour options. Depending on the region, the phone is available with either a 5200mAh battery supporting 68W TurboPower charging (up to 12 hours of usage in 8 minutes) or a 5500mAh battery delivering the same usage in 9 minutes, as claimed by Motorola.
